The Brookway Hearing Team

From its rustic waiting room to the steaming cup of coffee you might enjoy when you arrive for your appointment, a visit to Brookway Hearing Center may feel a lot like walking into a friendly get-together.

“The friendliest thing about us…is us,” assures Robert Pavlik Jr., a board certified hearing instrument specialist, audioprosthologist and owner of Brookway.

“A lot of that comes from the camaraderie among our staff. We’ve known each other and worked together for a long time and we get along wonderfully. Nobody wants to go someplace where everybody is grumpy.”

The relaxed environment, Robert insists, contrasts with the impersonal, volume-driven hearing aid stores where he, Practice Manager and Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist Patty Spencer and Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist Susan Turano each spent part of their careers.

Patty joined Brookway in 2013, but she’s known Robert for years.

“Patty actually trained me when I got my first job out of college,” he recalls.

“Then, when she left the company we worked for, Susan came on and I trained her. We’ve all known each other for so long it’s become second nature to bounce ideas off each other and weigh in on challenging situations. That teamwork benefits our clients.”

The newest member, Kayla Rogers, and Patient Care Coordinator Linda Pilhartz, have melded seamlessly into the Brookway team, he says.
